What is the Credit Union Foundation of BC?The Credit Union Foundation of BC (CUFBC) is collectively funded by BC credit unions, providing bursaries to students who reflect credit union/co-operative values and are facing barriers to completing their post-secondary education. Since 2019 the CUFBC has provided over $1.2 Million in funding to support students and post-secondary institutions across BC. 

Every credit union in the province plays a role in the success of the CUFBC. Because of all of us coming together, thousands of students have advanced their education and gained the skills needed to achieve their dreams!

Why should BC’s credit unions consider promoting the CUFBC?

Paying for school can be a huge challenge and we’re proud to help students stress less and learn more! CUFBC bursaries are a tangible thing you can offer to members, and promoting the CUFBC is a great way to highlight the value credit unions bring to their local communities.

Through the support of credit unions around the province, the foundation is making an impact in our communities. By helping to support the success of students, you’re giving back and creating great social impact.

How to promote

This is where the CUFBC marketing toolkit comes in! We’ve made it easy for credit unions to help spread the word. You can use our ready-to-go assets across your marketing channels to let people know about the foundation, promote upcoming bursary periods, or remind members about approaching deadlines. *Note – the next CUFBC bursary period runs from January 1 to February 15, 2024 so you can help to promote us in the new year!
