It’s time to head back to class! For those starting post-secondary, finishing a program or attending classes to re-skill, financial support is available. The Credit Union Foundation of BC’s fall bursary application period is open September 1 until October 15, 2022.
Collectively, credit unions across the province have built the Credit Union Foundation of BC. This investment in giving back to our communities is making a huge difference to students, helping to make dreams come true and create brighter futures. A bursary recipient from our last application period noted:
“I am writing to extend my sincere gratitude for your support. In Fall 2022, I will be continuing at BCIT to gain my BSc degree in Ecological Restoration in hopes to eventually become a Registered Applied Biologist. Being in my late twenties, pivoting my career has been a big and important shift for me, and I consider myself fortunate to be able to attend school again at BCIT. I hope that through my schooling and career I will be of great service to you and yours so that we can all continue to enjoy this amazing planet.”
