We’re pleased to announce that we will be holding our 2022 Annual General Meeting virtually on Tuesday, May 17 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm via Microsoft Teams.
We’d love to have representation from as many credit unions as possible. If you and/or any of your colleagues would like to attend, please fill out the registration form. Once submitted, you’ll be added to the Teams meeting invite. Just a reminder – each credit union is only allowed one vote.
Spring bursary period now open
Thanks to the collective support of credit unions across the province, we’re making a huge difference for post-secondary students facing barriers to education.
And that support for students doesn’t stop! The CUFBC spring bursary period is now open and accepting applications from your members until June 15, 2022. So don’t forget to let students in your community know. They can find information about the bursaries and a link to the application form on our website.
Need tips or materials to help promote the program? We’re here to help! Just email us at [email protected].
A big thank you for a successful 2021!
2021 continued to be a challenging year for students, with disruption of classes, online learning, and decreased opportunities for employment, practicums and community involvement.
We’re proud that, with your help, we were able to provide over $177,000 in funding to 178 successful applicants across the province to help them navigate these challenges.
Thank you for your continued support of the Credit Union Foundation of BC and our goal of providing financial assistance to students who need it most. We couldn’t do it without you!
